Job Group Analysis is a method of combining job titles with the contractor’s establishment. Job groups combine job with similar content, wage rates and opportunities. The percentage of minorities and women in each job group must be stated separately. All jobs located at an establishment must be reported in a job group of that establishment. Similar content means the duties and responsibilities of the job title. Similar opportunities refer to training, transfers, promotions, pay, mobility, and other career enhancement opportunities offered by the jobs within the job groups.
